PURPOSE: To provide the method for cleaning a conductive base for electrophotographic sensitive body which efficiently washes the conductive base so that good images are obtd.
CONSTITUTION: This method for cleaning the surface of the conductive base at the time of producing the electrophotographic sensitive body by forming a photosensitive layer on the conductive base consists in cleaning the conductive base 5 for electrophotographic sensitive body while operating ≥2 units of ultrasonic oscilators (vibrators) 3, 6 within a cleaning tank 1. The method is otherwise constituted of the method for cleaning the electrophotographic sensitive body by immersing the conductive base in pure water to wash the base body, then pulling up the base body and drying the base body.
