PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device for the inside of the celom which can make display of three-dimensional images and puncture under monitor by these three-dimensional images by one time of an operation to insert an ultrasonic probe.
CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic probe is composed of a linear type ultrasonic transducer 23 by which the image signals of the tomographic images within the plane passing the central axis of the probe are obtd., a rotating armor 21 having a puncture passage 26 for guiding a puncture needle in such a manner that the insertion locus of the puncture needle inserted into the examinee exists on the tomographic image and a motor 28 for rotating the ultrasonic transducer 23 and the rotating armor 21 around the central axis of the probe. The ultrasonic diagnostic device constitutes the three-dimensional images by reconstituting the plural tomographic images within the examinee as perspective images from the image signals obtd. according to rotation by the ultrasonic transducer 23.
