Title:
OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3037562
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form visible patterns in prescribed places merely by execution of one time of delay quantity adjustment by providing the above recorder with a delay circuit capable of varying the delay quantity within a data unit where scrambling treatment at the time of EFM modulation is executed.
CONSTITUTION: Such original data (excluding synchronizing patterns) that marking pits, for example, 11T patterns, are formable only at the data of the first byte of respective frames after obtaining an EFM signal is formed and is sent to an EFM encoder 5. The output thereof is checked. At this time, the timing for blocking is shifted by one step each at every specified period. If the appearance of the marking bit, for example, 11T pattern, in the prescribed position of the EFM-modulated signal is checked, the timing thereof is regarded to be the adequate delay quantity. Henceforce, the blocking is executed at this timing. The data arrangement as expected on the medium is then formed when the original data for visible patterns is inputted.
