Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a wire rod having an excellent machining property and low resistance in a magnetic field in a stabilizing material for an aluminum composite type superconductor.

CONSTITUTION: In a method where a plurality of covered three-layer composite materials are incorporated in a Cu-Ni alloy tube to be wire-drawn, intermediate annealing is carried out at 200-300°C for 10 hours or shorter during the wire drawing.
