PURPOSE: To obtain a two-way switch which is small in size, but high in accuracy, by letting two sets of contact points be made of a rotary element where a projection is formed at the center of its upper surface, and a recessed section in an U shape is formed downward around its center axis, and of a slender spring piece bent in an U shape.

CONSTITUTION: The two-way switch is equipped with a rotor 1 where a projection 2 is formed at the center of its upper surface, and a recessed section in an U shape is formed downward around its axial center 3, an installation and concurrently contact spring piece 6 equipped with contact points (a) and (b) at its tip end, and with a spring piece in an U shape 5 where a right and a left symmetrical spring sections 7 equipped with contact points (c) and (d) are formed. A spring piece in an U shape 5 is fitted in the U shaped recessed section 4 of the rotor 1 so as to allow both of them 1 and 5 to be integrally combined with each other, so that the aforesaid combined one is rotatably mounted around its center axis within a casing B provided with a rotary contact point A. When external force is applied to the projection 2 from the right or left direction, the rotary contact point A is rotated to the right or left direction, so that a rotary contact point (c) which is pressed in contact with a fixed contact point C' within the casing B is opened (a switch is opened), contact points (b) and (b') are closed, and contact points (d) and (d') are also closed (normally open type).
