Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic document feeder by which document conveyor belt replacing work can be carried out simply.
CONSTITUTION: As for a driving roller 32 of a conveyor belt, the engagement with a frame body 41F is releasable, and backup rollers 50e and 50f and a driven roller 33 capable of making downward turning motion while using an engagement part with a frame body 41R as its fulcrum are installed on tension plates 45F and 45R, and the plates 45F and 45R can make downward turning motion with a pin 48 as its fulcrum. As for a support plate 54 to support backup rollers 50a, 50b and 50e, 50d, the engagement with the frame body 41F is releasable, and it can make downward turning motion while using an engagement part with the frame body 41R as its fulcrum.
