Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the method for determining the pads of a spectacle frame which can determine the pads of the spectacle frame having an excellent wearing feel. CONSTITUTION:A basic nose root model is set 1 and is deformed according to the fluctuations in the shape of a human nose. These models are classified 3 to the plural nose root models. The pads are prepd. 5 in correspondence to this classification. The nose part of a purchaser is measured 7 and the adequate pads are selected and determined 8 from the prepd. pads, by which the pads of the spectacle frame having the excellent wearing feel without having such an inconvenience as generation of a local 'point contact' between the flanks of the nose root part of the purchaser and the contact surfaces of the pads can be selected.
