Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable trailing of a diffracting wave to be reduced at the time of transmission and sensitivity to be increased at the time of reception. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic sensor (vibrator) 10 and a coil 12 for performing resonance operation as well as a damping resistor 28 for reducing the resonance Q and leading a current which flows in the coil 12 to the ground are connected in parallel through a transmission line 11 for achieving a non-resonance type at the time of transmission and a resonance type at the time of reception. Then, a diode 20 is connected to the other edge of the coil 12 and a voltage is applied so that this diode 20 is inversely biased at the time of transmission and is forward-biased at the time of reception, thus achieving the above purpose.
