PURPOSE: To prepare a polymer mixture which comprises a specific polyalkylene phthalate, another specific polyalkylene phthalate or a thermoplastic elastomer, a transesterification inhibitor, and a nucleating agent, exhibits accelerated crystallization while maintaining its mechanical and thermal properties, and is useful for injection molding materials or the like.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises (A) a polyalkylene phthalate contg. at least 35 mol.% 1,4-butanediol-derived structural units and at least 35 mol.% terephthalic acid-derived structural units, (B) a polyalkylene phthalate contg. up to 15 mol.% 1,4-butanediol-derived structural units or a thermoplastic elastomer selected from among polyetherester block copolymers, polyesterester urethanes, and polyetherimideesters, (C) a transesterification inhibitor selected from among inorg. pyrophosphates, inorg. phosphates having two or more acidic hydrogen atoms, and inorg. orthophosphates having water of crystallization, and (D) a nucleating agent (talcum or carbon black).
