Abstract:
PURPOSE:To coat the surface of the wire with the stabilizing member to even thickness with the excellent adhesion by forming a Cu plate layer and an Ag plate layer in order at a specified current density or more on the peripheral surface of the wire having a specified diameter or less. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic wire composition 1 composed of B-Si-Ca-Cu-O group superconductive composition is fixed to a holder 6, and the oxidizing gas is supplied to the surrounding of a coil 4 and a pipe 5, and while a heating element 10 for pre-heating is energized to heat up to a temperature higher than the melting point of the wire material 1. Next, when drive shafts 8, 7 are lowered at a predetermined speed, the fused liquid of a fusion part 3 permeates and is lowered, and a wire 11 having a diameter at 2mm or less is manufactured continuously. The peripheral surface of this wire 11 is coated with a Cu plate layer at a current density of 0.3A/dm<2> or more, and an Ag plate layer at a current density of 0.2A/dm<2> or more is formed thereon. The stabilizing member made of a compound layer having a small contact resistance is thereby coated evenly.
