Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fishing rod supporting tool capable of delicately adjusting the supporting direction of a fishing rod and nevertheless effectively keeping the adjusted position by preventing unintentional rotation of the rod.
CONSTITUTION: A number of longitudinally extended splines 12, 16 are formed on a post-receiving member 5 of the main body 1 of the supporting tool having a rod-receiving member 4 and a post-receiving member 5 and on the fitting part of a driving post 6 to be inserted into the post-receiving member 5. The angle of the driving post 6 relative to the supporting tool main body 1 can be adjusted at small steps.
