Title:
MANUFACTURE OF DENTURE WHOSE WEARER CAN BE IDENTFIED AND GROOVE FORMING TOOL USED THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3026079
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a dental technician to perform name plate investing work which has been troublesome heretofore quite easier than conventional work method and also enable the technical to identify the wearer of a denture by forming a mark insertion groove in a wax form which forms a resin layer of the denture, and investing a mark in the groove where the resin is hardened.
SOLUTION: A mark insertion groove 5 in which a microchip 6 is burried is formed at the chin side of resin gum part 3 of a denture 1. In investing operation, at first, a resin liquid (monomer) of instantaneously polymerization type is applied into the groove 5, and then the microchip 6 is pushed into the groove 5. Next, the liquid is also applied to the surface of the microchip 6, and powder (monomer) sticking to a brush tip is applied to a gap between the resin gum part 3 and the microchip 6 and the surface thereof. Since the polymerization of the liquid and the powder starts in a few minutes, the application operation is repeated several times so that the applied layer swells up slightly, and then it is covered with cellophane or the like to wait its hardening. After it has hardened, it is immersed in hot water and the invested part is made smooth with an abrasion or polishing tool.
