Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a polyethylene sleeve of a short length to be used by a method wherein the polyethylene sleeve is covered on each pipe faucet, cut open pieces of the sleeves are fastened by collecting at a central part of an deformed pipe, and its working can be easily executed thereby.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of a cross pipe, a polyethylene sleeve P is fitted outside each faucet 1 of an deformed pipe T from a side to which slits 3, 3 are provided to cover that, and cut open pieces 3A of each polyethylene sleeve P1 are piled up at a central part T0 of the odd-shaped pipe T. Lastly the cut open pieces 3A of respective polyethylene sleeves P1 are collected by piling up to fasten outer periphery of the deformed pipe T. Thereby, the whole of the deformed pipe T is covered with the polyethylene sleeve. Though a pressure sensitive adhesive tape is used as a fastening member 4 on the outer periphery of the deformed pipe T, it may be also satisfied to take a structure of fastening with a synthetic resin made braid having flexibility or the like.
