Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ophthalmosurgical device for macerating the nucleus of a lens (cataract) from an eye of a creature and for removing fragments of the macerated nucleus of the lens from the eye. CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmosurgical device 100 having an excising implement 75 includes a casing 95 and a head part 70 placed in the casing and formed to accommodate a guide tube 40. A tube probe 30 is placed inside the guide tube 40. One end of the tubular probe 30 is coupled to a drive means placed inside the casing 95 and the other end of the tubular probe 30 is projected out from the guide tube 40 and formed as an excising element 35. The excising element 35 has at least two wing-shaped parts oriented in an almost transverse direction with respect to the longitudinal axis X of the guide tube 40.
