Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a powder-containing water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic suitable as make-up cosmetic or anti-suntan cosmetic, having excellent characteristics (slip) of use and storage stability.
CONSTITUTION: An emulsion cosmetic comprising (A) 5-20wt.% one or more cyclic silicone tetramer to hexamer, (B) 0.1-2wt.% liquid sorbitan fatty acid ester having ≤10 HLB value, (C) 0.1-2wt.% polyether modified silicone of the formula (m is 300-500; n is 1-7; a and b are 20-30), (D) 0.01-0.1wt.% cationic surfactant, preferably distearyldimethylammonium chloride or stearyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, (E) 0.5-20wt.% rutile type titanium oxide preferably treated with alumina, silica or zinc flower and (F) 30-70wt.% water. The preferable blending ratio of the components is 8-15wt.% component A, 0.3-1.5wt.% component B, 0.3-1.5wt.% component C and 3-15wt.% component E.
