Title:
NEGATIVE TYPE SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING THIS MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3052479
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain high-contrast negative images free from peppers by subjecting the negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material contg. a specific water-soluble polymer to image exposing, then to development processing with a specific developer.
CONSTITUTION: The negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material contains the water-soluble polymer having a quaternary ammonium salt in a repeating unit in a hydrophilic colloidal layer. This water-soluble polymer is a polymer or copolymer having the repeating unit expressed by formula. In the formula, A denotes an alkylene group; B denotes an alkylene group or P-xylene group; R1 to R4 respectively denote a lower alkyl group. X- denotes anion. The negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material is subjected the image exposing, then to the development processing with an aq. alkaline developer contg. a developing agent of a dihydroxybenzene system at ≥11.5pH or an aq. alkaline developer contg. reductones or the salts thereof.
