Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method and an apparatus for detecting the applied state (application irregularity) of a perting agent in an adhesive tape base material quantitatively and safe at all times in a short time in line.
CONSTITUTION: When the infrared light is applied to an applied part on one surface of an adhesive tape base material 8, the absorption spectrum or reflection spectrum is detected by a photodetecting/processing part 11 as an infrared spectroscopic means. The detected spectrum is compared with a reference spectrum preliminarily set by a recoder part 12 as a comparing/measuring means. Accordingly, whether the applied part is good or bad can be easily decided.
