PURPOSE: To provide a safely usable lighting equipment which can hardly deteriorate a connecting part even in the case of receiving vibration over a long period.

CONSTITUTION: Both side edges along the longitudinal direction of the slender rectangular flat plate part 12 of an equipment body 11 are curved downward to form side wall parts 14, and the side wall parts 14 are cut and raised inward nearly in U-shape to form engaging pieces 20. The engaging side part 23 of a receiving box 17 in which an electric part 29 forming a lighting circuit such as a stabilizer with pitch is received is nipped by the engaging pieces 20 and the flat plate part 12 of the equipment body 11 to mount the receiving box 17 onto the equipment body 11. The receiving box 17 can be safely and surely mounted on the equipment body 11 not depending on welding likely to cause deterioration even in the case of receiving vibration over a long period.
