Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide coated paper for decorative boards, excellent not only in smoothness, surface strength, masking property, and printing suitability but also in luster and flexural strength especially after printed.
CONSTITUTION: The coated paper for decorative boards is produced by coating raw paper having a surface strength of 15A-32A regulated by JISP 8129 and a smoothness degree of ≥200sec regurated by JISP8119 with a clear resin solution free from a filler in a dry weight of 5-15g/m2 to impregnate a resin component in the coating into the raw paper, and subsequently subjecting the coated raw paper to a calendering treatment.
