CONSTITUTION: An energizing upward point P with a leaf spring 14 onto an upstream side sheet presser component 7a is positioned between a shaft 13 and a pushing point with a pressing component 9a. In the same way, an energizing downward point Q with a torsion coil spring 16 onto a downstream side sheet presser component 7a is positioned between a shaft 15 and pressing position with a presser component 9b. In a recorder of this structure, when a carriage 8 is moved to a recording sheet 2 which was carried on a platen 5, pressing rollers 9a, 9b run over pressing parts 7a1, 7b1, and the pressing parts 7a1, 7b1 push the recording sheet 2 onto the platen 5 to prevent the recording sheet 2 from floating.
