Title:
PROCESS FOR RECOVERING MERCURY AND ARSENIC IN HYDROCARBON CUT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0633074
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To highly efficiently recover mercury and arsenic included in a hydrocarbon raw material by processing the hydrocarbon raw material under a specific condition.

CONSTITUTION: Mercury and arsenic included in a hydrocarbon raw material are recovered by bringing the product which is obtained by bringing mercury and arsenic in the form of elements and/or of mercaptides included in the hydrocarbon raw material into contact with a mercury recovering material (M1) which is one or more chemical compounds selected from the group consisting of sulfur, metal zinc, paradium, tin chloride, copper sulfide, iron sulfide, silver sulfide and zinc sulfide at a temperature (T1) not higher than 175°C, into contact with an arsenic recovering material (M2) which includes metallic nickel or the like at a temperature (T2) which is (T1) or higher and not lower than 130°C under the presence of hydrogen, and processing the product under a pressure from 1 to 90 bar.
