Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which enables deodorization of a smelling gas generated by causes in industries simply by bringing the gas of the deodorant into contact with the smelling gas.
SOLUTION: In this deodorant for a smelling gas, a trivalent aluminum salt, a trivalent iron salt and an alumina potassium salt adhere to a porous inorganic substance having open pores. The porous inorganic substance herein used is soft ceramics and/or activated charcoal which is obtained by baking uniformly accumulated diatomaceous earth at a high temperature of above 1,000°C. In the production method of the deodorant for the smelling gas, the porous inorganic substance having open pores is impregnated with an aqueous solution having the trivalent aluminum salt, the trivalent iron salt and the alumina potassium salt dissolved therein.
