PURPOSE: To make the saturation of the main magnetic body composing a laminate difficult and to increase the allowable current level by disposing a layer, having permeability lower than that of the magnetic body, at a position blocking the flow of flux in the magnetic laminate.

CONSTITUTION: A layer 8 having permeability lower than that of a magnetic body incorporating a coil 7 is disposed at a position blocking the flow of flux. Since the allowable current level and the saturation field strength of multilayer ceramic magnetic component can be increased easily without requiring any modification of coil conductor pattern or the improvement in the characteristics of magnetic body, design of the multilayer ceramic magnetic component can be revised easily and such problem as the magnetic body is saturated magnetically with excess overcurrent to cause abrupt decrease of inductance can be eliminated.
