Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an oil-immersed transformer in which dust can be separated perfectly from insulating oil.

CONSTITUTION: In an oil-immersed transformer which is transported while being sectioned and operated while being connected electrically through connecting duct 2 at site, sectioned tanks 1a, 1b are coupled through two pipings inserted, in opposite directions, with oil supply pumps 22a, 22b, dust removing filters 21a, 21b, and check valves 23a, 23b, and a cooler 4 is provided with check valves 25a, 25b. This constitution allows separation of dust thoroughly from insulating oil in the transformer through a small sized dust separator.
