Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new DNA sequence useful for preparing an Aspergillus serine protease of the subtilisin-type.
CONSTITUTION: This isolated DNA contains a DNA sequence encoding an Aspergillus niger serine protease of subtilisin-type, such as a DNA molecule having an amino acid sequence of the formula. The DNA molecule is prepared by chemical synthesis through nucleic acid condensation and produced by obtaining a DNA sequence encoding Aspergillus substilisin capable of expressing Aspergillus subtilisin, culturing a host to be transformed with a recombinant DNA molecule containing the DNA sequence and isolating a desired DNA sequence from the culture product.
