Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convey documents to a specified position without dispersion of document stop positions by detecting a first specified conveyance quantity at a point of time when a tip of the document is detected in document inversion, and then stopping operation of a conveyor belt mechanism when a second specified conveyance quantity is detected.
CONSTITUTION: When a document detector SW8 detects a tip of a document conveyed to a document inversion passage 142 by a document inversion means 128 at the time of document inversion, it transmits a detection signal thereof to a control means. The control means counts pulse signals from a rotation quantity detection means of an electric motor being a drive source of an inversion roller 134 constituting a document inversion and conveyance means from a point of time when the detection signal from the document detector SW8 is inputted. When the pulse signal reaches a first specified pulse number, the control means starts to count pulse signals from a rotation quantity detection means of an electric motor being a drive source of a conveyor belt mechanism 100, and when the pulse signal reaches a second specified pulse number, it stops operation of the conveyor belt mechanism 100.
