Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH075522
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent trouble that infrared film is exposed in a camera provided with a means for detecting the traveling state of a shutter blade by installing an inhibition means inhibiting the actuation of a shutter measuring means when a discrimination means discriminates that it is an infrared-sensitive medium.

CONSTITUTION: In a film sensitivity detection means 27, plural specified contacts are arranged in a line so as to read a code signal formed on a cartridge signal part 46. Since a contact pin 42 reads the specified code signal in the case of loading a cartridge (infrared film) to which the code signal is not given, that it is the infrared-sensitive medium is detected. Thus, the means 27 reads the code signal given to the side surface of the film cartridge and supplies film sensitivity information to a CPU. In the case the infrared film is used, the means for detecting the traveling state of the shutter blade is not actuated, so that the infrared film is not exposed.
