PURPOSE: To eliminate a necessity of installing a fuse on the outside to reduce labor required for fuse installation and wiring by forming a terminal connected to a power supply line of a flickering device into the same shape as a plug of the fuse to be inserted freely into a socket of a fuse box.
CONSTITUTION: A flickering device 3 is provided in power supply lines 21, 22 which lead to direction indicators 1R, 1L to periodically turn on and off a supply current and make the direction indicators 1R, 1L flicker. It detects short-circuiting of the power supply lines 21, 22 by a built-in current limiting circuit 32 and operates a switching transistor 31 for shutting-off. Terminals 41, 42 connected to the power supply lines 21, 22 are formed in the same shape as a plug of a fuse, inserted and fixed into a socket of a fuse box easily, and conducted to respective power supply lines 21, 22. Thus, labor required for mounting and wiring of the flickering device 3 is reduced greatly.
