Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a print system and a print method with which a user can choose one of printers connected to a network in accordance with the print data attribute and without operating a host computer.
CONSTITUTION: Having received the print data from a host computer 10 via a network cable 60, the printer 20 decides whether the received print data are printable or not. If printable, the printer 20 prints the print data. If not, the printer 20 transfers the print data to another capable printer via the cable 60.
