PURPOSE: To obtain a new hollow yarn membrane having macrovoid in an internal surface of a membrane and the production method.

CONSTITUTION: In the hollow yarn membrane made from a polymer having macrovoid, the hollow yarn membrane has macrovoid with opening pore on the internal surface. An the production method for the hollow yarn membrane, a solution containing mainly the polymer, an additives and a solvent is used as a film-forming original liquid and in the production method for the hollow yarn membrane to spin by discharging the original liquid from a spinning nozzle to a coagulation bath with an internal pouring liquid when spinning, the internal pouring liquid has capability to induce phase separation to the film-forming original liquid and is a liquid material which hasn't coagulation ability. The hollow yarn membrane is a separation membrane having a completely new structure with macrovoid in the internal surface and is a very suitable membrane for separation of micro-organism.
