Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a flame-retardant, highly rigid and dense epoxy resin foamed material by foam-hardening at a normal temperature.
SOLUTION: This producing method foams and hardens a mixture containing following each component at a following amount ratio. (A): 100 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin having more than two pieces of epoxy group in a molecule, (B): 10-300 pts.wt. of at least one kind of flame-retardant selected from a metal hydroxide and a metal oxide hydrate, (C): 1-50 pts.wt. of a foaming agent, (D): 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a foam settling agent, (E): at least one kind of phosphates selected from phosphoric acid, a polyphosphoric acid and phenylphosphonic acid in which a ratio of the number of hydroxyl group to the number of epoxy group in the epoxy resin is 0.4-1.0 and (E'): a mixture of the component E and at least one kind of phosphoric acid compound selected from a phosphate and a phosphoric ester having a hydroxyl group bonded to a phosphorus atom in which a ratio of the total number of hydroxyl group in the phosphates and the phosphoric acid compound to the number of epoxy group in the epoxy resin is 0.4-1.0.
