Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the noise emitted to the outside from the paper feed port or paper discharge port of a printer.
CONSTITUTION: Ductlike space 18 is provided in the vicinity of the paper discharge port of a printer and the resonance cavity 16 having the communication part 15 opened in opposed relation to printing paper is provided. Since the noise passing through a paper discharge route is reduced by the attenuation due to the ductlike space 18 and the resonance frequency due to the resonance cavity 16, the printer low in noise and free from rasping noise due to specific frequency can be provided.
