PURPOSE: To enable measurement with high accuracy at high speed by eliminating an influence caused by the difference of image fetching time in the case of measuring the luminescent line position of each color by simultaneously projecting plural colors while providing a projecting position for each luminescent line in the different color in the case of projecting the luminescent line as an object to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: Since a color slurring amount is measured as the central slurring amount of respective red, green and blue colors, respective red, green and blue luminescent line positions are measured and the difference of those positions is calculated. Therefore, a red luminescent line 22 and a blue luminescent line 23 are projected at positions shifting a green luminescent line 21 to the center only by a prescribed amount. For example, the longitudinal red luminescent line is projected at the position of-dm to the green, the blue is projected at the position of +dmm to the green, the lateral red luminescent line is projected at the position of -smm to the green and the blue is projected at the position of +smm to the green. These images are simultaneously fetched by the enlarged close-up of a camera, and fetched into an image memory. The respective luminescent line positions are detected, and a value subtracting a prescribed amount shifted in advance from the difference of those positions is defined as the object color slurring amount.
