PURPOSE: To provide the washing and drying device capable of washing and drying the wash by a single washing and drying tank and embodying high washing efficiency without requiring plural washing tanks and without separately requiring a drier.

CONSTITUTION: This washing and drying device includes a washing jig 1 which houses and holds the wash, the washing and drying tank 2 which executes dip washing by a washing liquid 9, vapor washing by vapor of the washing liquid in succession thereto and drying of the wash, a vacuum suction means 3, a condenser 4 which cools fluid contg. the vapor of the washing liquid sucked by the vacuum suction means 3 and condenses and recovers the vapor of the washing liquid, a heater 5 which heats and evaporates the washing liquid 9, a drying gas supplying means 6 which supplies the drying gas to the washing and drying tank 2 after the end of vapor washing and a jig lifting means 7 which lowers the washing jig 1 to immerse the jig into the washing liquid 9 in a stage for dip washing the wash and rises the washing jig 1 and holds the jig in the gaseous phase in the washing and drying tank 2 in a stage for vapor washing the wash and a drying stage after the end of the washing.
