Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact GPS radio wave reception antenna system suitable for a compact moving object such as a compact ship which enlarges horizontal directivity to obtain satisfactory reception sensitivity even when a satellite is set at any low position near the horizon.
CONSTITUTION: Concerning the material of an insulated board, the valid dielectric constant is '3' or the like and the thickness is 2.4mm or the like. Then, a reception conductor board 2 is formed in the shape of a disk, which diameter is 58mm or the like, and positioned along the upper face side of the insulated board 1. A reception lead 4 is connected at a position away from the central point of the diameter of the reception conductor board for 11mm or the like, and this reception lead is led out to a position, where one part of a conductor board for ground is missed, along the lower face side of the insulated board. On the other hand, notches 2a are provided on both sides of an outer periphery with a line, which crosses a line connecting a central point 2c of the reception conductor board and a position 2b of the reception lead at 45° angle or the like, as a center.
