Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lock and unlock easily and surely by means of a simple construction by pivotally connecting an operation member having therein an operation rod and a receiver member having therein a locking rod so that the members can be oriented horizontally and vertically.
CONSTITUTION: An end of a hollow tube-shaped receiver member 11 is projected normal to a vertical frame of an opening so as to be attached to the frame and a body member 10 comprising a hollow tube-shaped operation member 12 having therein an operation rod 15 is pivotally, horizontally and vertically, mounted to the other end of the member 11 through a pivotally supporting part 10a. And an end of a locking rod 14 inserted into the hollow portion of the member 11 and an end of the rod 15 are pivotally connected at a pivotally supporting part 13a so as to be turned to horizontal and vertical directions. If the member 10 is held horizontally and a grip 15c of the operation rod is pulled, the rod 14 is removed from a lock receiving port and put into the hollow portion of the member 11. And if the rod 15 is pushed into to project the rod 14 from the lock receiving port, the part 10a and the part 13a are aligned with each other so that the member 10 can be oriented in the vertical direction, thus holding a locked state.
