Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare composite data with high precision without requiring skills by moving each parametric curved surface, so that the directions of plural featured points selected in the order of larger absolute value of the Gaussian curvature or the like of sampling points calculated from the partial measured data of an object coincide with the directions of normal vectors.
SOLUTION: The surface shape of an object 1 is measured so that partial measured data 2 including a common part 1a can be obtained, and parametric curved surfaces 3 and 3' in each measured range are prepared. Next, a Gaussion curvature K=κ1×κ2 and/or a mean curvature H=(κ1+κ2)/2 are calculated from main curvatures κ1 and κ2 of plural sampling points set with prescribed pitches in a common part on each parameter curved surface. Then, three or more singular points 4 and 4' are selected in the order of a larger absolute values of a Gaussion curvature K or a mean curvature H of the common part, and each parametric curved surface is moved so that the directions of normal vectors 5 and 5' of a plane constituted of the three points are made coincident with the directions of the three singular points so that the common parts can be made coincident.
