Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent split wiping pattern in a video switcher and to improve operability also.
CONSTITUTION: A signal, e.g. a horizontal synchronizing signal, for regulating minimum split width is inputted from a terminal TA to a frequency divider 14, the frequency of the input signal is divided by various ratios and a frequency-divided signal is outputted to a selector 18. The selector 18 selects a frequency-divided signal corresponding to width specified by a width selecting volume VR1 and outputs the selected signal to an inversion/non-inversion circuit 10. The circuit 10 inverts a reference waveform supplied from an H waveform generator correspondingly to the inputted frequency-divided signal to obtain a split wiping waveform with the specified width.
