Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cut the load of reduction roll by half and to easily change the reduction roll by arranging a pair of roll shafts mutually approachable separatoble on both sides of wide flange shape pass line and installing the web reduction rolls attachable and detachable at the top ends of both roll shafts.
CONSTITUTION: The wide flange shape roller straightening device is composed so that a pair of web reduction rolls 7A, 7A are respectively set on the respective roll shafts which are freely approachable separable mutually on the same axial center, and the load applying to one hand web reduction roll 7A becomes half, and the limit of load proof stress can be increased in comparing to a pair of rolls being set on one piece of cantilever system roll shaft. And the change of roll can be speedy executed because both web rolls 7A, 7A are respectively attached on the top end part of respective roll shafts.
