Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the quantity of a brazing filler metal definite, to make the joined position of a wire and a metallic member, etc., definite, and also, to stabilize the joining strength.
CONSTITUTION: A double coil brazing filler metal 1 is constituted by winding round alternately a brazing filler metal 2, and a metal or alloy 3 whose melting point is higher than that of this brazing filler metal 2 one roll each at a prescribed pitch. First of all, to the tip of a wire 5, the double coil brazing filler metal 1 is fitted and inserted into a hole of a metallic member 6. This state is shown in (A) and (B), and it is before brazing. Subsequently, when the whole is heated by an atmospheric furnace, the brazing filler metal 2 is melted in a clearance between the hole of the metallic member 6 and the wire 5, and a coil of the metal or alloy 3 maintains a shape and a pitch before brazing, therefore, after cooling, the wire 5 is brazed in a prescribed position of the metallic member 6. This state is shown in (C) and (D), and it is after brazing.
