Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent bleach fogging and to improve desilverization property and liquid storage property by specifying the proportion of silver chloride in a silver halide emulsion and incorporating ferric (III) complex salt of specified compd. into a bleaching liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The silver halide emulsion contains ≥80mol% silver chloride and the bleaching liquid contains at least ferric (III) complex salt of compd. expressed by formula I, II, or III. In formulae, A1-A4 are hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, -COOM, etc., M, M1 and M2 are hydrogen atom, ammonium group, etc., A11-A14 are -CH2OH, COOM3, M3 is hydrogen atom, alkali metal atom, etc., X is alkylene group of 2-6 carbon number, A21-A24 are -CH2OH, -COOM1, etc., M1 is hydrogen atom, alkali metal atom, etc., and X1 is alkylene group of 2-6 carbon number or org. group which forms a ring.
