PURPOSE: To improve operation convenience by remote-controlling a specified fied function of a player of 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without lyrics) device in a microphone side and to display on a player side by separating a state while remote-controlling from the state while using the micophone.

CONSTITUTION: In the 'KARAOKE' device, operation keys 16, 17 for controlling a specified function of the player side and an encoder 18 are loaded on the microphone side. A control signal Sc from the encoder is transmitted to the player side through the same transmission systems 13, 27 as a singing signal Sv from the microphone, and circuits 21, 24; 25, 30 corresponding to the specified function are controlled, respectively. A display device 40 responding to the singing signal and the control signal with different attitudes respectively, is provided.
