Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent leaked water from penetrating into the ground even when a waterproof layer for civil work has been damaged and dispense with the maintenance work.
CONSTITUTION: A highly hygroscopic polymer 13 is dispersed at a rate of 10-3000g/m2 on a base sheet 12 and arranged on the surface of ground 6 where water is to be cut-off and covered with a cover sheet 14. And a cut-off sheet 11 which is provided with at least the space between the cover sheet 14 and the base sheet 12 and connected or stuck to each other, is laid down and at least a water proof sheet is laid down thereon to form a waterproof layer.
