Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the compression strength and durability by mixing a boron aggregate incorporating colemanite, etc., and an oil admixture in which a surfactant is mixed into mineral oil, etc., at a specific ratio.

CONSTITUTION: Oil of the mineral oil, etc., and a surfactant by which the oil is emulsified are mixed at a ratio of (10-50):1 to obtain the oil admixture. Then, the oil admixture is mixed to the cement incorporating the boron containing the aggregate of colemanite, etc., at 0.05-5.0wt.% to produce the neutron shielding concrete.
