PURPOSE: To reduce the construction period by providing a recessed portion at one end of a block main body and a projecting portion at the other end, and providing a ladder-shaped notched portion and a contact surface gradient on one side of the block main body, and providing conveying-hanger attaching portions on the upper side of the block main body.
CONSTITUTION: A roughly semicircular joint recessed portion 2 is provided at one end of a block body 1 having a hollow portion 4 therein, and a roughly semicircular joint recessed portion 3 is provided at the other end. A contact surface gradient 5 the upper side face of which is chamfered at its corners is provided on one side of the main body 1 facing a levee, and a ladder-shaped notched portion 6 communicating with the hollow portion 4 is provided on said side. Conveying-hanger attaching portions 8 are provided at the four opposite points of the upper side of the main body 1, to form a precast concrete block for a levee foundation.
