PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a high sensitivity, lessens wear of a photosensitive layer, obviates blade inversion, lessens degradation in image quality and deterioration in sensitivity and has excellent image stability.
CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic image forming method includes a stage for imparting a uniform photoreceptor charge onto the photoreceptor, a stage for forming electrophotographic latent images by image exposing and respective stages for developing, transferring and cleaning. The travel rising acceleration of the photoreceptor surface is ≥2000mm/sec2. This cleaning stage is composed of a cleaning blade consisting of a urethane rubber material. This blade is pressed to the photoreceptor under contact load 5 to 30g/cm at an angle with the counter direction. The photoreceptor which is ≤1.0 in coefft. of static friction of the photoreceptor surface and the cleaning blade is used.
