Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce an extrusion space by enabling heat-treatment of the cut end surface of a pipe to be simply achieved on a line.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of cutting, a pipe 22 is grasped by a first chuck 48 and a second chuck 50 of a cutting unit 24, and cut by a cutting part 42. After cutting, while the pipe 22 is still grasped by the second chuck 50, the cutting unit 24 is moved forward by an air cylinder 72 of a movement control device 26 to form a gap between the cut end surface. The heater 78 of a heat treatment unit 28 is inserted in the gap so as to make heat-treatment on the rear end surface of the preceding pipe 22 and the forward end surface of a following pipe 22.
