PURPOSE: To utilize the constitution of motor driving of a sliding door device to simplify the positioning constitution of a travelling stop position thereof and to release a positioning state manually in the case of power failure to make it possible to travel manually.
CONSTITUTION: A travelling device 2 on a sliding door main body 1 side is mounted on a rail in a movable manner. A pressure-welded belt section 4 is formed over the approximate length of the sliding door main body 1. A driving roller 7 driven and revolved with a motor 6 is maintained on a fixed base 5 side in a revolvable manner. Pressure-welding of the driving roller 7 is made to the pressure-welded belt section 4. The sliding door main body 1 is opened, shut and travelled with forward and reverse driving rotation of the driving roller 7. The approximately C-shaped stopper 24 holding the driving roller 7 and positioning a travelling position of the sliding door main body 1 is provided thereto.
