Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise the efficiency of operations for constructing a shaft of a specified width and a specified depth by a method in which while regulating a position by a free face excavating mechanism, a free face is excavated on the rockbed, and a single pit by securing the direction of the pit by nuts.
CONSTITUTION: A slide bar 1 supporter, a horizontal regulator 9, and a guide shell 4 are provided, and a bit 21 is attached to one end of a rod 20. A centralizer 22 to stably secure the rod 20 to impact force and turning force when drilling rock is provided. A free face is excavated on the rock flat face 16, an inside breaking hole and outside breaking section are drilled, and a breaking agent and a breaker are inserted into the pit to break it by expansion pressure and wedging effect and also to break the surrounding rock bed. Cracks are formed from the breaking pit to the free face to expand the free face, and two pits are formed at a giver interval in the rock flat face 16, top pins and the guide bar of nuts are inserted into the adjacent two pits, and the third signal pit is drilled in the rocked of the intermediate between the single pits. Operating cycles are repeated to form a specified length of free face and a shaft is constructed.
