PURPOSE: To provide a mold for a carpet and the manufacture of the carpet by using said mold, which eliminates a working step of taking out a carpet to set it again and enables work to be simplified.

CONSTITUTION: A carpet raw fabric or its preliminarily molded product is press-molded into a cabin floor shape by a mold, and a footrest mat 5 is bonded onto the surface of a carpet which has been molded. In this manufacture of the carpet, a holding/welding jig 13 is provided, which is incorporated in a top force 12 of top and bottom forces of the mold so as to constitute a part of the top force and is capable of sucking up the footrest mat 5 and bonding it onto the surface of the carpet. The carpet raw fabric or its preliminarily molded product is press-molded and, at the same time, the footrest mat 5 is bonded onto the surface of the carpet by the holding/welding jig 13.
